NFL Pick Em 2011 – Week 10

I am quite lucky to only be down 1 to Joe Munley in the pick em.  I completely forgot to pick Thursday’s game and he was burned by .5 point.

This week, as I see it:

New Orleans Saints (6-3) at Atlanta Falcons (5-3) +0.5 – I love Drew Brees against the Falcons.  I hate the Saints D against anyone, but with the division lead on the line in Drew I trust.  Geaux Saints, and give away the .5(what exactly is the point of that line anyway?)

Buffalo Bills (5-3) at Dallas Cowboys (4-4) -5.5 – Biased as I might be I love Fred Jackson in this match up against a D that could not hold up against Shady McCoy two weeks ago.  Take the Bills and the points and run with it.

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3) at Cincinnati Bengals (6-2) +3.5 – I know the Bengals D is highly rated but I love the Steelers D against a rookie and Big Ben to make enough plays for the Steelers to win and cover.

St. Louis Rams (1-7) at Cleveland Browns (3-5) -2.5 – The Brownies finally play someone in their weight class and tip the Rams by a FG, covering in a game you could not pay me to watch.

Denver Broncos (3-5) at Kansas City Chiefs (4-4) -3.5 – This week the good Chiefs come to play and crush the hearts of Tebow-maniacs all over the Rocky Mountain time zone. They also cover the spread.

Tennessee Titans (4-4) at Carolina Panthers (2-6) -2.5 – Cam gets win number 3 in a big way helping his ROY campaign and my fantasy squad in one fell swoop.

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) at Indianapolis Colts (0-9) +2.5 – Against any other team I would go against the Jags, but not even Poz can cost them against the moribund Colts.

Washington Redskins (3-5) at Miami Dolphins (1-7) -3.5 – The Skins win, or at least cover in the John Beck Bowl.

Arizona Cardinals (2-6) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-5) -13.5 – The Iggles win, but this team cannot be counted on to cover, and I don’t think they do.

Houston Texans (6-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-4) +3.5 – The Texans are for real.  The Bucs just picked up Albert Haynesworth….Texans win and cover.

Baltimore Ravens (6-2) at Seattle Seahawks (2-6) +7.5 – Ravens win big in Washington State, even if the spread were double.

Detroit Lions (6-2) at Chicago Bears (5-3) -2.5 – The Bears are on a roll, while it seems like the Lions have peaked.  I like the Bears to control the clock and defend their home turf against the upstart Lions.

New York Giants (6-2) at San Francisco 49ers (7-1) -3.5 – I love the way Niners play ball.  As far as the Bills have come it makes me wish the Bills could have gotten him.  Niners roll at home.

New England Patriots (5-3) at New York Jets (5-3) -1.5 – I hate the Jets.  That aside I think Brady has taken his struggles against them personally and even though he won earlier this year he wants to take this game on their home turf.  Pats win.

Minnesota Vikings (2-6) at Green Bay Packers (8-0) -13.5 – Packers roll.
